Description
These blocks are extruded flexible magnet strips. They are made by binding ceramic ferrite powder with a polymer (occasionally, rubber). These are then extruded, magnetised and cut.
They are used in latches, motors, actuators and sensors and many other applications. Being flexible, they do not chip or break easily and do not suffer mechanical demagnetisation.
They can be cut with a sharp, strong, craft knife or with sharp scissors for use with craft projects.
