This is a very unusual product. 5x5mm disks, magnetised so that one flat face is north and the other is south, have been cut twice, each time removing a millimeter of diameter leaving a shape which is not dissimilar to a stadium. This means that they have a very unusual direction of magnetisation and that the they're magnetised through the 5mm length so that one 5x3mm face is north and the other is south.
Their uses are very varied but care must be taken because they are EXTREMELY BRITTLE if allowed to jump together or are dropped they will shatter.
Unlike neodymium magnets, they do not rust and are usually left uncoated except when being used on circuit boards when a nickel coating is used.
The pull is calculated using a mathematical formula for a 5x3x5mm block less 10% and is, therefore, only for guidance. The vertical hold shown is 1/5th of the pull.
