It’s that time of year again when the kids are about to break up for their long summer holiday.
We have been looking for magnetic fun that you can have with kids for minimal money. There are fridge magnets to make (how about some early christmas presents for friends and relatives), there’s a magnetic marble run game which you can use with a cotton ball or pingpong ball for a quieter version or how about our latest favourite? Herd the Sheep! No, not real sheep, cotton ball sheep which you heard with a magnet.

We spent a very enjoyable minute watching this and wondering why on earth we’d never thought of this with our own children. There is also a variation on this game using cotton buds or Q-tips which involves aligning 10 scattered cotton buds using the same magnets.
Full credit to Spaghettiboxkids for their videos and ideas, we also loved their idea for the tin can race!
