We have had a lot of requests in the last 2-3 months for monopole magnets. It’s time to debunk some psuedo-science. There is NO SUCH THING! The laws of physics require every magnet to have two poles
This was true – until very recently. David Hall and his team at Amherst College have managed to make monopoles in a lab by chilling Rubidium atoms to less than 1/100,000,000 of a degree above absolute zero. The results were published in Nature. They’ve also posted a YouTube video showing exactly what their results were.
